Hardly Love

We hardly knew each other
I knew she was crazy
And that was good to me
She knew of my deviance
And that allured her

So there we were; a strange pair
Like two passing in the night
No thought of tomorrow
We had that moment

She suggested we get a hotel
I had no money - she paid
She was something else

I tasted all that sweat from her neck
When she fell tired upon me
Naked as newborns we layed
She did not seem so crazy then
Just a woman in need of warmth
